For this direct recruitment as a Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA), a candidate must have to passed HSSLC or 10+2 with Science stream and Biology as one of the subjects and also have to complete minimum 01 year certified course in primary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the identified school of “School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Assam”established by the Government of Assam State at Ghungoor, Silchar. This is as per Rules number 8 of “The Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subordinate Service (Amendment) Rules, 2017”.
