The 137 Army Public Schools (APS) are located in various Cantonments and Military Stations in India. These all schools are managed & administered by local Army authorities and affiliated to CBSE through Army Welfare Education Society (AWES).

Fresh Candidates [Less than Experience in 5 years] : Below 40 years (In case of Delhi schools (Less than 5 yrs Experience) the candidate should be in the age bracket as per DSEA&R)

Experience Candidates : Not more than 57 years [In the case of Delhi as per DSEA&R more than 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years].
1. Post Graduate Teacher [PGT]
Education : Post Graduation(with 50%) in the subject concerned & 50% marks with professional diploma in B. Ed.
2. Trained Graduate Teacher [TGT]
Education : Graduation(with 50%) in the subject concerned & 50% marks with professional diploma in B. Ed.
3. Primary Teacher [TGT]
Education : Graduation(with 50%) & 50% marks with professional Two year Diploma in B.Ed/ D. El.Ed.
